Jim is a Senior Partner, Chief Compliance Officer, and founding member of KOM Wealth Management Group. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an Investment Advisor Representative.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ripon College in Business Administration, Economics and Mathematics. Jim earned his Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) degree from the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Jim has more than 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career with Ameriprise Financial where he became a member of their Advanced Advisor Group. In 2007 he became a founding partner of Kerntke Otto McGlone Wealth Management Group. Jim's primary focus is working with individuals and families to achieve their goals and dreams through a long-term consultative relationship.
Jim is married to his wife, Amy. Together with their four children, the family enjoys sports, camping, boating, downhill skiing, travel, being outdoors, reading, and spending time together.
Kaley is an Associate Advisor with KOM Wealth Management Group. She is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
Kaley is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in Business Administration with a Minor in Personal Financial Planning, a CFP® Board Registered Program. Kaley’s professional career began at Guardian Life Insurance Company where she dedicated five years in an operational support role. Five years of valuable work experience was then garnered at ManpowerGroup in Recruiting and Client Delivery roles.
Kaley and her son, Oliver, reside in the Greenville area. They enjoy music, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Amy is a Client Service Specialist for KOM Wealth Management Group, working directly with the Jim McGlone team. Amy seamlessly works with clients to set up new accounts, funds their current accounts, and offers additional client support where needed. Amy’s extensive experience in the investment industry, paired with her strong analytical skills, is a proven vital asset to the team.
Amy brings over twelve years of invaluable experience within the financial industry, with her focused career path beginning at HSA Bank in their brokerage department. Amy worked several years at SII Investments, devoting her time to various roles within their new accounts, commissions, and product maintenance departments. After the sale of the broker-dealer, Amy dedicated two years to the insurance industry at Jewelers Mutual before coming back to her investment roots at Kerntke Otto McGlone Wealth Management Group.
Amy and her husband Paul reside in Oshkosh with their three children Lucas, Vincent, and Rayna. In her spare time, Amy is an avid runner, enjoys camping and hiking, and loves spending time with friends and family.
Kate is a Client Service Coordinator for KOM Wealth Management Group, working directly with the Jim McGlone team. Kate delivers friendly, effective client communication and prompt information delivery. She executes sound management of all real-time client scheduling. Kate’s energetic, self-motivated style empowers her to work seamlessly on all tasks assigned to her in the team. Her professionalism and warmth benefit both Jim’s team and his valued clients.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She dedicated ten years as a project manager in the printing and packaging industry. Looking for a new career challenge, Kate joined Kerntke Otto McGlone Wealth Management Group in 2019. At KOM, Kate’s desire is to foster a positive client experience and be a reliable contact for Jim’s clients by establishing strong business relationships.
Kate and her husband Justin reside in Hortonville with their two Goldendoodles, Gus and Wiley. Away from the business, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time at their cabin on Bass Lake with family and friends.
